About

Inspired by the parting words of an Ex, the purpose of this blog is to sort out my thoughts on: gender roles, Queerness, sexuality, interracial relations /relationships  and really anything else that takes my fancy.

I didn’t intend it, but this blog charts my transformation from considering myself Bisexual to Lesbian, and finally to the Queer. To be honest no label comfortably defines me but Queer gives me the most room to move around in. I’m also toying with the term Skoliosexual.

  1. I was just looking up “curvy women” on Google- wanted to see some beautiful women that look like me- and your picture of Pierce Brosnan came up. I kept reading around on the blog and saw about your lover passing. I wanted to say I’m so, so sorry. My boyfriend broke up with me and I am filled with so much pain right now. i suppose it couldn’t have worked between the two of us, but I still love him and miss him terribly. People tell me “you’ll meet someone else” and you’re right, that phrase is like an insult to my whole experience. I cannot imagine if my man (how can I think of him as anything else?) had died and just want to send you all of my sympathies, even though (or maybe because) you’re a total stranger. Good luck.

    • Thank you so much! That is so sweet! I hope that you have come to some place of peace over your break-up.

  2. I know I’m commenting uber late on this but I just came to your Blog and started reading. Being a Black-male-pagan in an interracial relationship with a curvy White woman (ahem! let me take a deep breath)…your posts really hit home and resonate. Glad I found you and hope you keep writing.

    • Sounds like it’s too bad you’re taken! (And probably live in another state) I really appreciate all your comments. Just keep doing what you’re doing and be good to your lady! 🙂 PS. let me know if you guys break up and you find yourself in MA. (kidding!–kinda)

      • lol…you’re awesome…lol

  3. Truly digin’ the blog. I read your post regularly & enjoy how your brain rotate. Thanks for being open and untamed. Be sure 2 keep in touch & once again, great stuff.

    Peace!…with 2 fingers:)))

    • Thanks Darryl I know you been wit me since the beginning pretty much. Thanks for being a loyal reader and letting me know you’re out there. Getting feedback lets me know better than statistics that people are actually reading & engaged.

Keep being you and be good to that family!

      Peace )0(

    • Thanks hun! It’s been more than a year since he died, so I have been able to make a sort of peace with it and with myself. They say time heals all things, but I know that it doesn’t feel that way in the moment. Hang in there! (Hugs)

  6. A fan from South Africa. It was not by chance that we encountered you blog. You and I had chat and you alerted me to it. Sunday our lazy-day. We do our reading of newspapers and other stuff. My wife, being a little bit shy, always gets shocked with I introduce her to new readings.

This time she was blown away by the contents of this blog and how honest it is. On Monday it was our “reading in bed” snack. Which led to other things I cannot write without being disowned by the newly elected Pope.

    We love love love love.

    • Glad you love! Sending that love right back to my far-flung friends. And while you may not clear the Pope’s standards, if you ever want to write a sexy guest post you’re more than welcome!
